MBTI Workshops

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Step I and Step II assessments are being used increasingly by companies and individuals and couples for leadership development, communication development, stress management development and conflict management cooperation. This can build strong, healthy relationships.

Wisdom Tree Coaching offers MBTI workshops and individual professional coaching both facilitated by a MBTI Master Practitioner. Our workshops and individual coaching are designed for use with an individual or couples, or in team and organizational settings and highly individualized to the needs of the individual, couple, team or organization.

These workshops and our individual coaching are an essential way for participants to explore their own preferences and learn about the preferences of their colleagues or significant other. Based on the workshop length, a variety of group or individual activities are conducted so each person can become more self-aware and discover how to interact and appreciate other preference types for better self-management.

Through a series of questions, the MBTI assessment helps you identify your natural preferences in four areas of personality:

  • How do you direct and receive energy—by focusing on interacting with people and taking action, or by focusing on reflecting on ideas, memories, and experiences?
  • How do you take in information—by focusing on what you perceive using your five senses or by seeing the big picture and looking for relationships and patterns?
  • How do you decide and come to conclusions—by logically analyzing the situation or by considering what’s important to the people involved?
  • How do you approach your priorities—in a planned, orderly way or a more flexible, spontaneous way?

Your natural preferences in these four areas sort you into one of 16 MBTI personality types. Understanding these types gives you objective insight that you can use to enhance your professional and personal relationships, as well as your direction, focus, and choices.

Knowing one’s strengths and blind spots is critical to better self-awareness and self-management and therefore the foundation of leadership.
